Broncos bring Manning, undefeated record to Indy

This is one of those games that are circled as soon as the schedule is released and so far, Peyton Manning and his former team the Indianapolis Colts, are living up to top billing status.  With the Broncos sporting a 6-0 record and Indy with only two losses to Miami and San Diego.

While much speculation has been made about Manning returning and the drafting of Andrew Luck but team owner Jim Isray says that Manning was in on that deal and even suggested drafting Luck.

“[Manning] said, ‘You’ve got to take Andrew,’ ” Irsay told USA Today Sports. ” ‘You have to. You’re crazy if you don’t.’ “

Indianapolis Colts' Offensive Line Ranked Near Bottom of NFL in 2011: Fan's Reaction

The have a lot of needs this offseason. One of their clear needs is on the offensive line. Pro football focus recently ranked the offensive play of each team in the league and the Indianapolis Colts ended up ranked 24th overall. Their run rank was 29th, pass rank was 19th and penalties rank was third.

Should the Indianapolis Colts Resign Reggie Wayne? Fan's Take

Will ? That remains to be seen as the teams offseason makeover continues. Reggie Wayne is an unrestricted free agent and would like to return to Indianapolis to finish his career. Wayne will be one of the biggest questions facing the team this offseason. Fans want him back, but will the team be willing to spend what it will take to retain him?

Wayne still had a good season in 2011 despite the absence of and . These are two of Indianapolis’ rivals that have been rumored to have interest in Wayne. If he were to hit the open market, I don’t know any team that wouldn’t want one of the most reliable veteran wide receivers in the game. Indianapolis fans can hold out hope that they can figure out some way to retain Wayne for 2012.
