Colts dismiss Chiefs, prep for Jaguars

After dismantling the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday afternoon in a 23-7 whipping, the Colts turn their eyes on the less than stellar Jacksonville Jaguars.  The Colts can still move up in the seedings with a victory over the Jags.  Once the seeding pans out, the Colts could be facing the Denver Broncos in a rematch of their earlier game which Denver won.

“Whether that comes to fruition or not, we’ll deal with it at that time,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said. “Today, we did a tremendous job in all three phases. We did what we felt we had to do to win today against a really good football team.”

Great seats and tickets are still available for this season ending game.

Colts visit Chiefs this week

The Indianapolis Colts hit the road this week after dismantling the Houston Texans at home in a 25-3 thumping.  This week, the competition is much stiffer and the stadium will be the unfriendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium.

Head Coach Chuck Pagano is sticking to the game plan that has gotten his team this far.

“If we take care of business, we don’t have to stay at number four[playoff position]. I guess there’s a scenario where you could get even higher than that,” Pagano said earlier this week.
“But again, our total focus, our guys know it, they understand it, but our total focus is on just preparing this week and try to play the best we can and go win this football game.”

Great seats and tickets remain for the final two Colts games.

Face the Tennessee Titans this weekend

Former Colts interim Head Coach Bruce Arians, now the Head Coach for the Arizona Cardinals, had his veterans playing at a high level as QB Carson Palmer led his team to victory over Indie last weekend with two touchdown passes to Pro Bowl receiver Larry Fitzgerald.  On the defensive side, Karlos Dansby had a great game with a 22-yard interception return for a touchdown.

We expect to dominate like this all the time,” Dansby said. “We just finally put it together as a unit. We’re starting to believe in each other and trust one another and we’re making plays all around.”
