Luck leads team from a 28-point deficit
The Indianapolis Colts found out what they were made of this weekend after taking on a very tough Kansas City Chiefs team. The Colts came out and seemed not to know what to expect from an NFL Playoff game as they fell behind 31-10 by halftime.
“This team has never panicked since I’ve been a part of this club,” Luck said after the game. “Guys just play football. We knew there was no 28-point score. Guys just stepped up.”
And panic they did not. The Colts came out in the third quarter and put 21 points in the third quarter and 14 in the fourth to the Chiefs 13 2nd half points.
“We’ve been here before,” Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano said, imploring his team to “trust techniques and fundamentals. I know I sounded like a broken record, but that’s what we did. We did it one play at a time.”
The Colts next face the New England Patriots this weekend for a chance to move on in the 2013 NFL Playoffs. Great seats and tickets are still available!
