Colts’ Saturday headed to Pro Bowl

Indianapolis, IN (Sport Network) – Indianapolis Colts center Jeff Saturday was
named to the 2011 Pro Bowl on Monday.

The 12-year veteran, who has four prior Pro Bowl selections, was tabbed to
replace Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey, whose club has advanced
to Super Bowl XLV.

In all likelihood, Pouncey wouldn’t have been able to participate if the
Steelers didn’t advance, as he reportedly suffered a high left ankle sprain in
Sunday’s victory over the Jets. It usually takes 4-to-6 weeks to recover from
that type of injury.

Saturday has participated in the third-most victories by a Colts player in
franchise history with 130. Only Johnny Unitas (132) and Peyton Manning (141)
have celebrated more wins with the franchise.
