Colts dismiss Packers

Division rival Titans up next

The Indianapolis Colts went into the lions den that is Lambeau Field, survived a vintage Aaron Rodgers attempted comeback and walked out with a rare 31-26 victory.  This week, while the teams are not so much the same, the same intensity will be available for this division match up with the Tennessee Titans.

Playoff Football this week

Head Coach Chuck Pagano knows what a win this week for his team and colts-6he has been preaching playoff football in November.

“It’s playoff football, really,” Pagano told Jim Wyatt of the Titans official website.

The Titans, you see, have scored 35 or more points in their last three games and are averaging a league best 33.7 points per game.  Make no mistake, this game will be every bit as hard as the Packers on the road.

Luck out against Titans

Barring an unlikely playoff berth, Quarterback Andrew Luck’s season has come to an end.  The team announced Wednesday that Luck would not be playing against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday.

“Getting better, but not good enough to go out and play a football game,” Luck said. “I am disappointed. It’s no fun to sit out on the sideline, same thing I’ve been talking about.”

The Colts and Titans kick off at noon on Sunday.  Get your tickets now and help cheer on your Indianapolis Colts!

Face the Tennessee Titans this weekend

Former Colts interim Head Coach Bruce Arians, now the Head Coach for the Arizona Cardinals, had his veterans playing at a high level as QB Carson Palmer led his team to victory over Indie last weekend with two touchdown passes to Pro Bowl receiver Larry Fitzgerald.  On the defensive side, Karlos Dansby had a great game with a 22-yard interception return for a touchdown.

We expect to dominate like this all the time,” Dansby said. “We just finally put it together as a unit. We’re starting to believe in each other and trust one another and we’re making plays all around.”
