Indianapolis Colts Gary Brackett to speak about history at Fishers High

Indianapolis Colts player Gary Brackett will speak at an event that begins at Friday at Fishers High School as part of a celebration of African-American History Month.

The 6 p.m. program is Unity in the Diversities among Us, said Marianna Richards, spokeswoman for Hamilton Southeastern Schools.

The event also features Fishers High School artists and musicians. The African-American History Challenge Team also will play a role during the evening.

Activities start in the school’s main corridor with sampling of various food items from international and local origins before moving into the auditorium.
